Who's Ali?

Hello! I’m Ali Fares-Boulos, a Frontend Developer located in Seattle, Washington. I began learning and building web applications in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to use my new web skills to help fundraise wish grants for children battling cancer through my time at the Childhood Cancer Society.

I currently work for SS&C, where I work closely with my team and clients to manage and build new websites and features for the financial sector. The things that bring me daily joy as a Frontend Developer are the endless opportunities to help others, debugging and working among other people who enjoy technology and design. Outside of web development, I love to cook, cycle and travel!

Travel Site

A multi-page travel website that utilizes Material UI and Tailwind CSS to create components efficiently. Weather and Map Box Api used to preview location and current weather in area. Content is read from JSON data.

The Store

An E-Commerce site that asynchronously populates product categories through processing JSON data. Local storage repopulates the user's cart when revisiting the E-Store. The checkout popup includes form validation.
